Paranormal Challenge
These are the guidelines for the Paranormal challenge.
The 666 challenge is called so because the requirements are this:
1.) You must choose 6 of the categories below.
2.) For each category, you must read 6 books for each.
3.) You must read at least 6 different authors. Variety is the spice of life, isn’t it?
Do you have to read 36 books, though? No. Some books can certainly be put under multiple categories. For example, Twilight has both vampire and werewolves, so that can be put under both categories.

New Author
New Author guidelines are:The idea is to read 50 (or as many as you want) new authors throughout 2009. Here are the guidelines:
1. The challenge will run from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009.
2. Since this is an author challenge, there is no restriction on choosing your novels. They can definitely be from other challenges.
3. I want this to be an easy challenge, so you state how many new authors you want to try this year and then that’s your challenge.

Around the World in 80 Books
Goal: Read 80 books set in 80 different countries of the world. There's no time frame, so just plod along at your own speed. Since there's no time frame and just keep adding to this list whenever I read a book set in a new country. Without a doubt the majority of books I read are set in USA, England or a fantasy country, but perhaps this will make me more conscious of choosing books set in other countries as well.
Updated March 31, 2008: 1 countries.
Europe (2 countries)
Germany: The Book Thief
Africa ( countries)
Asia ( countries)
America ( 1 countries)
USA: Dewey by Vicki Myron

Inkworld

My friend from RideAbility Val gave me some books to read. They were InkDeath by by Cornelia Funke, Dewey by Vicki Myron, Outliers and The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. Right now I am reading InkDeath. I already own InkHeart and InkSpell and thought that the were magnificent. Both me and my mom waited anxoiusly for the third book to be published.
I love the whole series! It's a wonderful idea that Meggie and read stories into reality. Well I don't want to give away any spoiler's! It's a good ending to a great series!

Here Lies Arthur

Well I finished Here Lies Arthur. It was a remarkable version of a well loved tale. I can't wait to read the Mortal Engines quartet and the Larklight series by Reeve. Gwyna writes about how she comes to serve her master Myrddin, her alternate selves, how both of them worked to make Arthur the hero that everyone wants, and a friend that has grown up believing that he is a girl.
"Everyone's heard of King Arthur. But until now. No one's ever heard the truth."
Pages:332
Genre:Fantasy
Summary:
Gwyna is just a girl who is forced to run when her village is burned to the ground. To her horrow, she is discovered in the wood. But it is Myrddin the bard, a traveler and spinner of tales, who found her. He agrees to protect Gwyna if she will agree to be bound in service to him. Gwyna is frightened but intrigued--and says yes--for this Myrddin serves the young, rough, and powerful Arthur.
